Project Template
When you start your project a new project folder will be generated with the following folder structure.
Guidelines for folder usage can be found below and inside your project folder in the readme.txt
Guidelines for Folder Usage
01_Workspace
- To share data with your group - no backup, data will not be archived (!)
02_Reports
- All submitted reports corresponding to the project. Include sources! Name: YYYYMMDD Name.doc
03_Presentations
- All submitted presentations corresponding to the project. Include sources! Name: YYYYMMDD Name.ppt
04_Data
- CAD, etc
05_Sourcecode
- your sourcecode can be shared here (or use git.fh-aachen.de)
06_Media
- images and videos - use root or create subfolders, but no sub-sub folders!
07_Communication
- Communication with 3rd parties (quotations, invoices, etc)
08_Downloads
- Downloaded files, Libraries, Specs, etc
- 08_Downloads/Sources.txt -> add the sources to your downloads here!
09_Literature
- Papers, Books, etc.
Members.txt
- Add your Names, Emails and FH-IDs to the list!
Readme.txt
- this file
Keep the root-directory clean!
Don't rename the folders and files listed here!
