PLCSIM Advanced
Launching PLCSIM Advanced and creating a PLC instance
Double click on the PLCSIM Advanced icon on the desktop or search for PLCSIM Advanced in the search bar and click Enter.
PLCSIM Advanced does not launch a window (in older PLCSIM Advanced versions). When it runs, it shows up on the tray icon. A right click on the tray icon will show the control panel.
A PLC with the correct program already uploaded will be suggested by PLCSIM Advanced. Click on that PLC’s name to start an instance of it.
In the next section, the OPC client will be established. Through the OPC client, you should be able to set PLC variables at runtime, for example; start the simulation.
